I 've been knitting since the winter of 2002 - 6 fun years! I am self-taught - from a book, and am still learning new things everyday. I first picked up the needles, determined to learn to knit a gift for my sister-in-law's unborn child -- Sidar Snowflake was my first yarn, and I knit a very lopsided baby blanket, then a baby hat and finally a baby sweater as my first wobbly attempts. I started in March and finished at the end of April, and have been hooked ever since!
I am married with 2 dogs and a puppy, one cat, a crazy Selkirk Rex kitten and several tropical fish - "several" is a term that can be used loosely ;)
